Snow Plow Damage To Lawn and Curbs! Place Tall Flags in Turf Edges in Fall to Help Plow Drivers See the Curb!

Snow Plow Damage
The plows are out clearing roads, driveways, and sidewalks! Oftentimes plows damage turf near the curb. This damage is one of the biggest problems affecting the edge of your lawn in winter next to road salt.
It is important to repair damaged areas as soon as possible. Left unattended, broadleaf weeds and other invasive grasses will move in making recovery for turf more difficult. To help in recovery:

*Flush the soil with water
*Apply topsoil to the area
*Seed with hardy turf seed
*Water frequently

Place tall flexible steaks around border areas in the fall. This will help plowing crews identify the curb and prevent damaging your lawn in the future. If you have any question call your local Weed Man of the Twin Cities 651-456-9696 or visit us at http://minneapolis.weedmanusa.com
