Final Fall Lawn Care Tips Via Weed Man Lawn Care of the Twin Cities - Minneapolis and St. Paul Metro Lawn Care Providers

Final Fall Lawn Care Tips!      (Presented by Weed Man Lawn Care of the Twin Cities)

• Clean up fallen leaves regularly to allow light to the grass.

• A last mowing can be made this month before leaving your lawn for the winter.

• Recut any lawn edges if needed. Try installing lawn edging to make future maintenance easier.

• Finish off essential lawn maintenance to avoid waterlogging and compaction over winter. Try aerating your lawn with a core aerator, raking thatch from the surface and repairing dead patches by seeding if needed.

• Fresh seed can still be laid now. Autumn rains should ensure the seed settles successfully. Non-sprouted seed should not be hurt by a dry lawn.

Fall is the most important time to fertilize your lawn. While the soil is still warm and the air cool the maximum root growth can be achieved!
